Putrajaya Committee on GLC High-Performance, chaired by the Minister of Finance II, and thereafter by YAB Prime Minister, with participation from the heads of the GLICs namely Khazanah Nasional Bhd (KNB), Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB), Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) and Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH) and representatives from the Ministry of Finance Inc. (MOF) and the Prime Ministerโ€™s Office (PMO).

Khazanah, in its capacity as Secretariat to the Putrajaya Committee on GLC High-Performance.

Wider forum on GLC High-Performance, including Heads of GLICs, selected GLCs, and as required, invited specialists.

GLICs

:

There are five GLICs involved in the GLC Transformation Programme: Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Khazanah Nasional Bhd (Khazanah), Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT), Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH), and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB).

GLCs

:

Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) are defined as companies that have a primary commercial objective and in which the Malaysian Government has a direct controlling stake.

Controlling stake refers to the Government’s ability (not just percentage ownership) to appoint Board members, senior management, and/or make major decisions (e.g. contract awards, strategy, restructuring and financing, acquisitions and divestments etc.) for GLCs, either directly or through GLICs.
